Internationally-celebrated ceramicist and Granada native Miguel Ruiz Jiménez

, “the Alchemist”, was commissioned to design the beautiful ceramic bottle which holds the perfume. Each one is an authentic work of art in miniature and is created using centuries-old artisan techniques.

All bottles are made to the same design but painted by hand, making each one unique. In a limited edition collection, each bottle bears a serial number and a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
This process has brought together two vastly different techniques for the first time in the history of golden lustreware. You might say we have elevated technology to the category of alchemy, or even vice versa.

The techniques used to create the bottles are the product of Ruiz Jiménez’s extensive research into the golden lustreware of the Nasrid era. The artist used the same techniques to create his own reproductions of the incomparable Alhambra Vases.

The vibrant beauty of the decorative glaze recalls the living areas of the Alhambra palace and the name of the fragrance is drawn in Arabic characters.

Serene and expressive in its form, jubilantly beautiful in its colours and graphics, the bottle is sensuous, luxurious and quite simply unique. With a small ceramic wand held in the cap for applying just the right amount of the perfume each time, the bottle is presented in a compact wooden holding case.

A combination of the noblest materials, techniques and sentiments have produced a unique work of art, the first in a collection capable of demonstrating that the results of artistic endeavour exert a positive effect on the emotions.
